Scientific, engineering and support staff at QuTech, as well as all operating budgets and investments, are currently funded through the following sources:

• Lumpsum by TU Delft (5 M€ in cash)
• Collaboration projects (subsidy and industry funding)
• In addition, TU Delft supports QuTech and the faculties with various central support services.

QuTech researchers receive funding for PhD students, postdocs, running budgets and investments via revia research grants applied for through the NWO, QDNL, RVO, TKI-Holland High Tech, KNAW, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Defense, the European Union (ERC grants, Horizon Europe grants), ARO, etc.

The total revenue of QuTech in 2025 was 33,4 M€.
